The following selected images illustrate the evolution of my interest in creating linear spatial sculptures to the initial experiments made with the eye-tracking device. I was initially interested in deciphering the representation of the contemporary human figure by exploring the distribution of lines along an environment; for the beholder to creatively discover and perceive. Most references for the human body came from social media and marketing trends. Works like ‘Pose, 2014’ embrace the mechanics of vision and perception, while asking the viewer to culturally participate in the construction of an image on an individual level. Eventually, eye-tracking technology permitted me to explore these mechanics of vision from within, as well as through the embodiment of technology and data among other notions.
